The Staff & Mechanics are so nice, knowledgeable & helpful. The shop is far from where I live. I had to get the dipstick removed and replaced. I considered trying to find a mechanic closer to home. Big mistake. All were charging so much. The Mechanic Shop gave me such a great deal. I realized, going there is always worth the drive. Take your vehicle needs to The Mechanic Shop. Lester is the real deal guys!! I read reviews before I called and spoke to him and when I brought my car up to him he was wonderful! Very thorough and helped my find the problem quickly.. the check engine light had come on and I was worried about what it would cost to fix. He worked within my budget and helped get me taken care of. They are my new go to for my auto repair needs!! And he's funny too!!

I brought my car in 8 months ago to check out the engine light that kept coming on. Turns out I needed a new timing belt and tensioner, which I had them replace for a pretty good price. I had meant to write a good review back then, as they were kind, fast, and very transparent about everything, but I admit it slipped my mind. I recently returned because my car was making a knocking noise, which they told me was likely a knocking rod due to low oil. My car is pretty old, so they recommended trading it in, as replacing the motor would cost more than the car is worth. I wanted a second opinion and went to Christian Brothers, where they told me the problem was that the timing belt was loose, which was still under warranty at The Mechanic Shop. I returned and Lester was happy to take a closer look at it, free of charge. He reached the original conclusion of a knocking rod and even offered to raise my car up on the lift again so I could verify for myself what the issue was (which I sadly was unable to do due to time constraints, but he mentioned I could return when I was able and he would show me then if I wanted). My A/C went out in my car. I was able to drop my car off in the morning, they diagnosed, ordered parts and FIXED my car before end of day! There was a sensor unplugged and they fixed it at no additional charge and my car drives so much better. They really went above and beyond to ensure I left in a fixed, cool, and safe vehicle. They were incredibly respectful and kind. I will definitely be recommending them to all family and friends! Thank you!

I have been coming to The Mechanic Shop for almost a year now for various car repairs and services, and I'm a little more impressed with each visit. Brad is very personable and takes time to explain the ins and outs of what is going on with my car, what should be repaired now, and what to expect down the line with possible repairs. Affordable and honest prices, too - much more reasonable than other places I have looked in the area. And a bonus waiting area that feels like a living room or a spa. I highly recommend!
